Despite being new to Bolton, I have never met a bunch of people more friendly and welcoming. I love the character, sense of humour and I am proud to work in a place that is striving for a greater future for everyone.

Laura Fenton

I love Bolton because of the different people you meet every day, it has such a fantastic vibe and all the places to go is amazing. Its regeneration over the years will keep Bolton on top!!!! #loveboltonforever

I love Bolton because you are no more than a 10 minute drive from a lodge, river, hills, parks or shops. Take your pick where to go today to see the sights, historical or modern.

I am in the navy, & work away a lot, and there is nowhere in the word that calls to me like Bolton. It’s my home, & always will be. I love the people, the accent, all the great things to do & most of all, I love Bolton because it’s home. When I’ve been away a while the homesickness kicks in & I think about MY hometown & how I can’t wait to come home.

It's such a diverse place. Many different shops available and everybody is always smiling and with the investment into the town itself, it's massively improving and bringing people back to the great town of Bolton. The different world sports stars we have produced and the sports clubs including our beloved Bolton Wanderers FC :)

Scott

I love Bolton because of the amazing number of choirs, musical groups and theatrical groups in this town. This is a town that has made the arts accessible to everyone.

Andy

It has some beautiful buildings, despite many empty units below some of them. Its beautiful countryside and choice of walks and cycle paths is huge. It has always had a good amount of music venues, entertainment and nightlife, this has now dwindled in the last 20 years, I hope that this will be boosted again with the new plans.

Sarah Morgan

I love Bolton because of the beautiful countryside on our doorstep!

It's a diverse town, full of friendly people who love a natter, a wealth of industrial heritage and beautiful buildings. A fantastic food festival, enjoyed by all who visit. Brilliant transport links. All surrounded by such beautiful countryside, right on our doorstep! What's not to Love?

Left Bolton in 1973 to travel the world! Now live in London, still visit "home" annually. I see great changes being made!

Ken Barker

I love Bolton because it is friendly and lots to see and do like Queen's Park.

Connor Freeman

I love Bolton because it's the friendliest place in the country and we have the amazing market place :)

Cathy Savage

It welcomed me when I came to work here, it’s a great diverse opinionated, caring community that has a fabulous identity, and really embraces outsiders as part of the big Bolton family!

Bernie Brown

I love Bolton because of the gorgeous countryside and parks.

Rosa

It's where I grew up. People often just focus on the town centre which has improved greatly but I see Bolton as the countryside, the reservoirs and the moors. We're so lucky to have so many beautiful places to wander and explore and get away from our hectic lives. There are not many towns with such a diverse landscape.
